This tuberous plant comes highly recommended for aquariums. It is easy to cultivate, it just needs to be given enough space. The scallopedleaves are highly decorative and are best presented in a subtle scheme. Longiplumulosus can live for many years in an aquarium environment. During rest periods it stops growing, but after a few months it does start to produce new leaves. There is no need to remove the bulb from the aquarium at any point.
